莫日根(Morigen),2005年毕业于挪威奥斯陆大学医学院分子生物学专业,获博士学位。之后在挪威肿瘤医院癌症研究所做博士后研究。2009年10月回国任内蒙古大学生命科学学院生物化学与分子生物学教授、博士生导师。兼任内蒙古遗传学会副理事长、中国遗传学会微生物专业委员会委员、中国细胞生物学会理事、《高校生物学教学研究(电子版)》编委、《中国细胞生物学学报》编委、《中国生物化学与分子生物学报》编委。

一、研究领域和兴趣:
1. 细菌DNA复制、细胞周期及环境适应分子机制与耐药性。主要以大肠杆菌为模式生物,研究DNA复制与基因组稳定、细胞周期、代谢和基因表达调控分子机制,揭示细胞环境适应性和耐药性分子机理。
2. 癌细胞DNA复制与基因组稳定性。研究癌细胞DNA复制与基因组稳定性以及肿瘤发生发展和早期诊断。
